Can I convert PPT and PPTX files?

Yes. FiloTool accepts modern PPTX and legacy PPT presentations up to 100 MB. ODP, KEY, PDF, and image files are not accepted here.

Will slide formatting be preserved?

LibreOffice Impress preserves common slide dimensions, themes, text, images, tables, charts, shapes, backgrounds, and formatting. Microsoft-specific effects and SmartArt may differ.

Are animations, videos, and audio included?

PDF is static, so animations, transitions, video, and audio playback are not preserved. Their static slide appearance may be included where supported.

What happens to unsupported fonts?

The server includes open-source compatibility fonts such as Carlito, Caladea, Liberation, and DejaVu. Proprietary fonts that are unavailable may be substituted, which can change line wrapping.

Are hidden slides included?

The converter follows LibreOffice Impress export behavior. Hidden-slide handling can vary, so check the downloaded PDF before sharing it.

Is the file stored permanently?

No. Isolated temporary files are removed after download, cancellation, failure, timeout, or scheduled expiry.

Can password-protected presentations be converted?

No. Remove the password in PowerPoint before uploading. Protected or unreadable presentations are rejected.

Does the PDF preserve hyperlinks?

Common hyperlinks are preserved when LibreOffice supports them, but you should verify important links in the output PDF.
