About FiloTool

FiloTool is an independently maintained collection of browser-based PDF and image tools. I build the tools, check their documented behavior and write the supporting guides.

What I publish

FiloTool focuses on practical file tasks: compressing, converting, extracting, arranging and editing PDFs and images. A page is intended to explain what its tool changes, what it preserves, its browser limits and where a different workflow is safer or more suitable.

How tools are checked

Tool behavior is reviewed against the implementation and automated tests in the FiloTool codebase. Important workflows are also exercised with representative files and desktop or mobile browser tests. Limits and known tradeoffs are documented when they can affect the result.

How file privacy is documented

FiloTool favors processing files on the user's device. Each tool page describes its own processing model because formats and supporting libraries differ. The Privacy Policy explains site data, cookies, consent and third-party services in more detail.

Editorial updates and corrections

Guides identify their publication date and show an updated date only after a recorded content revision. I revise instructions when tool behavior, supported formats or material limitations change. Readers can report an error or unclear claim through the Contact page.

Software engineer, developer of FiloTool

Urvish Parmar is a software engineer and the developer of FiloTool. He builds and maintains the browser-local PDF and image tools published on this site, and writes the guides that document how they behave.

Because the same person implements a tool and documents it, these guides describe what the code actually does — including the formats it rejects, the limits it hits and the results it cannot promise.

Articles published on the FiloTool blog carry this byline. Corrections and factual challenges are welcome through the Contact page.
