One queue for repeat image work
Use this tool when several images need the same treatment. It processes one file at a time in your browser, reports each result separately, and continues when one malformed or unsupported file fails. Nothing is sent to FiloTool for processing.
What the controls change
Keep each format for a compression-only pass, or convert every output to JPG, PNG, or WebP. The optional maximum-width control only reduces larger images and preserves their aspect ratio. JPG cannot preserve transparent pixels, so the selected background colour is applied when needed.
Deliberate browser limits
A batch can contain up to 20 files, 20 MB per file, 100 MB of compressed input, 24 megapixels per image, and 80 megapixels decoded across the batch. ZIP creation is capped at 150 MB of completed output. These guards reduce memory pressure; a device or browser can still run out of memory earlier.
Choose the narrower tool when appropriate
For detailed review of one file, use the single image compressor. Use the image resizer for exact width and height controls, or the image converter for its wider input and output format support.
Before replacing originals
- Test representative photographs, screenshots, and transparent graphics.
- Inspect small text, sharp edges, gradients, and transparent areas in downloaded files.
- Keep the source files until the whole batch has been checked.
